On pancake day we tried different fillings in our pancakes, chocolate spread was definitely the favourite! We practiced tossing the pancakes into the air and catching them in the pan. the children were much better at this than Mrs green

Happy Chinese New year! The children have had a fun filled morning, celebrating Chinese new year. They made Bolang Gu drums, ate delicious food in the banquet, made special red packets to take home and did an exciting dragon dance outside. 

Today we had toast for snack,using a knife to spread the butter and jam helps develop our fine motor skills. 

This week we read the Jolly Postman story and the wicked witch left us a message in nursery. She asked us to collect things from the garden to make a special potion. 

We’ve had a wonderful time in the snow, exploring and playing. 

We have been on a walk to spot the signs of winter, the children saw ice and frost in the nature garden. They  also spotted some robins along the way, we showed care and concern for the birds by making some hanging bird feeders.

Today we had a surprise visitor! He told us that we are all on the good list and gave us a special chocolate treat.

The children arrived at nursery very excited to show off their Christmas jumpers and for the Christmas party. They were amazed by magic bob and loved dancing to baby shark in the disco.

We are very pleased to announce that we have won the Parish council Christmas card competition. The children worked together to create a card to represent the title ‘lighting up the village’.  They are very happy with their present from Father Christmas
