Nursery really enjoyed the Christmas production and they were all amazing at singing and dancing. Thank you to everyone who came to watch, we hope you loved it as much as we did! Merry Christmas everyone!  

The children have enjoyed sharing artifacts and photos from special times with their family. They have also been busy decorating the tree, ready for Christmas celebrations. We are all feeling very festive now!

The children came to school in yellow and spotty clothes very excited for children in need. We raised lots of money in our cake sale and the children enjoyed making pudsey headbands. 

What an exciting week we have had! Nursery began their week sharing their news from over the half term, many said they had seen lots of wonderful fire works. We made catherine wheels, the children enjoyed making the noise whilst twirling them around. On Wednesday it was Diwali, we enjoyed tasting delicious Indian food, learning a bhangra dance, making rangoli and mehndi patterns. 

This week we went on a walk to the field to spot the signs of Autumn, we had lot of fun creating a leaf shower!  We brought different coloured leaves back to nursery and used them in our woodland role play. We have also been busy baking hedgehog bread and it tasted delicous!

Our first full week of having all the children in has been lots of fun. They have been busy exploring the different areas and getting to know each other. 

The children had a fantastic first day in nursery. They enjoyed exploring the different areas and making new friends. It was lovely to see lots of smiling faces and we are looking forward to the week ahead.

What a lovely time we had at Wonderland this week. The children  really enjoyed visiting the different traditional tales homes and going on the different rides. When we got back to school we made a lovely book of our favourite things and decorated a biscuit as a  well done treat for being so sensible and well behaved.

Both Reception and Nursery had the chance to use a microscope this week as we took a close look at bugs, beetles, spiders and other invertebrates. We thought they looked very strange and very hairy when zoomed in – some had some rather scary fangs!
