Choosing and then starting at a new school is an important time for both children and their parents/carers. We firmly believe that commitment is needed from all partners in education, and therefore we welcome and encourage parental involvement throughout your children’s education. A successful partnership depends on close co-operation, support and trust between home and school and a recognition that we have a shared responsibility.
At Lickey Hills Primary School and Nursery, we believe in the education of the whole child and therefore offer experiences in the widest possible range of areas of study including the arts and outdoor learning where we use these experiences to support the children to demonstrate good discipline and high academic achievement. LHPSN has a strong, values-led ethos with highly qualified, compassionate and dedicated staff who believe in supporting the development of ambitious, creative and resilient learners. We have a strong music tradition and a passion for creativity in all areas of the curriculum going beyond the national curriculum and enabling children to become confident and responsible citizens.
We believe that children should work hard, but that education should be stimulating, enjoyable and memorable.

Our talented staff strive to maintain a caring, safe, happy, purposeful and stimulating environment where each child feels respected and valued and is encouraged to achieve their true potential. We work very closely with our neighbouring primary schools in The Grove Partnership and the Bromsgrove Learning Network to ensure high quality experiences and education for all families in the Bromsgrove community.
All members of the school community are immensely proud of our extensive grounds, which include an environmental garden, large playing field, three playgrounds, a pond and a fantastic purpose-built Early Years area all of which are all used as vital learning spaces to promote our creative and aspirational curriculum.
