At Lickey Hills Primary School and Nursery we recognise the challenges that families face in bringing up children. There may be times when you need extra help and support. If this is the case please come and talk to us. There are many ways in which we can help as outlined in this offer of early help.

  • There is an ‘open door’ approach for parents/carers to ask for help when they need it.
  • Monthly drop in sessions with the safeguarding and nurture team for confidential support and advice
  • CAMHS support children who are in need of support for mental health needs. CAMHSCAST workers provide outreach support to schools and parents/carers.
  • Our curriculum activities and learning environment are focussed on providing engaging enrichment opportunities for our children. Memorable experiences, such as educational visits and visitors bring our learning to life.
  • Staffing structure that promotes support for all pupils and their families.
  • School have access to the services of Chadsgrove Outreach support to support learning and nurture needs.
  • Touchstones support our children experiencing family bereavement or loss.
  • Targeted Family Support will work directly with families who request additional support for more complex needs.
  • The school nurse and health visitors offer advice and support to parents/carers.
  • Additional interventions for children who are eligible for Pupil Premium funding.
  • The Positive Behaviour Team will work with children and families to offer support and strategies to manage challenging times.

A whole school ethos that values the child and inspires them to "Dream, Believe and Achieve".
